Q: Describe a typical reason why companies hire K-Calls!
A: The first reason: We serve primarily the B2B community, so think of a marketing or sales team that want to reach customers fast. Or, think of a company who require customer feedback with subjective data as well as objective data. The most common scenario is a marketing team that needs support on a brand, promotion, or event and needs an implementation partner.
The second reason: We serve professional service firms. We serve doctors, accountants, veterinarians, chiropractors.. or any office who requires better time management to become more successful. Some tasks such as scheduling patient appointments, reminders to send in forms and information, any task that you would hire a front desk person to do full-time, we can do it part-time.
Q: How long have you been doing this?
A: Karlsrud himself has been in the sales and marketing arena for almost 30 years. He has served clients with phone support strategies since 2000. Kcalls and its predecessor 6calls, has been in business since 2009.
Q: How long does it take from when we agree to move forward, until calls are made?
From the point that we receive all necessary paperwork and preparatory information from our clients, it is usually 2-4 days.
Q: What’s my ROI?
A: Great question, but a difficult answer. A better question is what is the customer worth to you? We can have a live conversation with your customer, delivering key messages for under $4.00 a conversation. Do that 12 times a year for $48. Can you get $48 back over a year’s time because of increased mindshare, better customer experiences and pro-active account management? It’s the cheapest marketing you can do.
Q: Why haven’t I heard of you before?
A: We get this a lot! The short answer is, because we are a small group of customer service fanatics. We work with folks who understand what they need, are selective in who they choose to partner with, and have a disdain for typical call center experiences. We prefer to work with fewer companies, in deeper relationships, but for longer periods of time. Frankly, we’re a bit old school. We cut through the “white noise” that is created by all the technology options marketers have and just talk to people. Amazingly simple.
Q: Is it really cheaper to hire you than to do it internally?
A: Yes. A $10 employee, who also receives benefits, actually is more like a $15 an hour employee. Real world experience tells us that when you hire someone to come in and support a project, it is often hijacked by three other departments who want to use your resource. In the end, no one is happy and your costs are crazy. In addition, you have added another FTE to your headcount. We are in and out and we don’t live on your balance sheet- which makes bean counters very, very happy!
